Intruders have been entering UC Berkeley residence halls with ease. That’s all about to change, with the hiring of enough lobby monitors for full nighttime staffing by Oct. ‘23.
Cal is hiring safety ambassadors!
UC Berkeley is hiring student Residence Safety Ambassadors, formerly known as Security Monitors. RSAs help create a safe environment in the residence halls by alerting UCPD of any unsafe situations that may arise. This is a great part-time job for Berkeley students! (Job link included.)
